Flamin’ Nosh the fun red, yellow and orange interior of this western- themed restaurant - ideal for kids and kidults alike - belies an easy simplicity in both the presentationand execution of the food. A giantstone cave oven dominated the open kitchen and gives the part Tex-Mex, part modern British menu flavour and texture. Staple starters such as Deep-fried Cajun mushrooms and their own wonderful Flamin’ dough balls (both 4.00) are unfussy, flavoursome and delivered with just the right amount of bite. Ditto the main of Aromatic duck pizza (7.85), a wonderful mass of topping, crisp base and doughy centre also available to take away, and the huge Chicken fajita (11.95)- all big enough to stop John Wayne himself in his tracks.
